Workshop Objectives

The Augmented Reality Teacher Training Workshop aims to support teachers’ technical, digital and pedagogical competences necessary for delivering AR courses to undergraduate and graduate students across Europe.

At the workshop, the Code Reality team will share experience designing and delivering an AR course, provide practical tutorials and engage the participants into open discussion on teaching AR.

This 3-day long workshop will be held in Oxford and hosted by the Performance Augmentation Lab at the Oxford Brookes University on 7-9 October 2019.

Who should attend

The Augmented Reality Teacher Training Workshop is an open event designed primarily for university teachers who are teaching the topic of AR and for those who consider to start teaching this subject. Industry representatives who are training AR developers in-house are also welcome to attend.

Having experience teaching AR or related topics is not a requirement. The Code Reality team will share experience from teaching AR, the methodology and the teaching materials. We will engage into discussions where all other participants will be able to share their own experience and ask questions.
